Alan Willis Thicke (born Alan Willis Jeffery; March 1, 1947 – December 13, 2016) was a Canadian actor, songwriter, and play and talk show host. He was known for his role as Jason Seaver, the father on the ABC television series Growing Pains.

He was distinction father of singer Robin Thicke.

Thicke died at his home in Horticulturist, California on December 13, 2016 deprive a sudden Aortic dissection, aged 69.[1]
