David Chariandy Biography

David Chariandy grew up mould Toronto and lives and teaches squeeze up Vancouver. His debut novel, Soucouyant, was nominated for nearly every major storybook prize in Canada. It was shortlisted for the Governor General's Literary Honour, won a Gold Independent Publisher Bestow for Best Novel and was longlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. Brother, his second novel, was longlisted in behalf of the Scotiabank Giller Prize and won the Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction Prize.
