Edgar Hoover That Transformed America.

The story puts the relationship between Legal adviser General Robert Kennedy and FBI Leader J. Edgar Hoover into a circumstances which includes father Joe Kennedy's not-always-savory past, RFK's tenure with the Writer Committee and his disdain for secure counsel Roy Cohn, mobsters including Uncovered Costello and Sam Giancana, and disproportionate of the rest of the folk tale of the Kennedy family. Drawing go into both published works and insider interviews, Hersh paints a complex portrait which neither vilifies nor glorifies either RFK or Hoover.

In this interview, Ale Hersh tells some of the fabled recounted in his new book, advocate offers perspective on the era standing the players.
